  1. I really needed to get a logo created when I first started. I paid someone to do it, but I didn’t particularly like it very much as time went along. I realized later that the reason I didn’t like it was because it did not represent ME.

Thanks for sharing this with us, Dana Susan. I am in the process of thinking about logos again, and as I design, I will keep your tips in mind. Bless you! ♥

    1. So true, Christi! When you pay to get a logo done and it does not reflect you as a business and a person, it is a waste of time and money. Glad I could help! That’s why I love doing what I do, helping people learn how to create brands that sizzle!

  2. Hey Dana,

I’ve been looking really heavily myself into a logo and the components of what should go into one when considering branding.

One thing for sure that I know is extremely important, your logo must represent your BRAND in its’ entirety so being careful with what you choose is important.

I’ve been considering getting one designed as well and will keep your tips in mind.

    Thanks for sharing!

    All the best,
    Chante

  3. Susan, these are great tips! I’ve been considering getting a logo, so this helps me immensely!

I never really considered sketching my own so at least someone else can recreate my vision. Much like Christi, I want to be sure it represents ME. 🙂
